There is no better way to spend a Saturday than to spend it with 300 Under 6-9 rugby players from 28 Teams from across Brisbane plus their group of loyal spectators at the Pumas rugby fields. A whole day filled with young talent, sportsmanship, and the spirit of rugby. The quality of the junior clubs was clearly on display and judging by the quantity of smiles from the day we'd say the Puma's inaugural Under 6-9 Carnival was a huge success!
A massive shoutout to every single volunteer that helped out leading up to the day and on the day (not only from our club but from all the clubs who attended). Big thanks to Mika from Zarraffas Lawnton (one of our amazing sponsors) for jumping into the canteen and helping out after already doing an 8 hour shift at work in the morning. The biggest shoutout though goes to our amazing Registrar Nicole – this was all her idea and WOW did she bring it to fruition!!!
We can't wait to host clubs from all over Brisbane again at our 2024 Under 6-9 Carnival – first weekend in September – mark it in your calendars!
