2025 SEASON
GIRLS Under 11 to Under 16
2023 saw the return of Girls XVs for the second year running with BJRU combining clubs to make barbarian teams for a much longer season. The competition grew both in the number of players and teams and we can't wait to start the 2024 season with this developing girl's program.
BJRU also runs a Rugby 7s competition for girls aged between 11 and 18. We joined forces with Albany Creek in 2023 to create an U13 team called Pumas Creek and an U15 team called Brumbies River. Joining forces with a club so close to home meant that training together worked well. We are looking forward to working with Albany Creek and other local clubs again in 2024 to continue to grow girls' rugby in the area.
